Size & Fit Guide
Finding the right fit makes all the difference to how a watch looks and feels on your wrist. This guide will help you choose with confidence.
Measuring your wrist
Wrap a soft tape measure, or a strip of paper you can mark and measure against a ruler, snugly around your wrist just below the wrist bone — where you would normally wear a watch. Note the measurement in millimetres or centimetres. Most adult wrists fall between 14 cm and 20 cm (140–200 mm). If your measurement falls between sizes, we generally recommend sizing up for comfort.
Choosing a case size
Case size (the diameter of the watch face, measured in millimetres) is largely a matter of personal style, but as a rough guide: smaller wrists (under 16 cm) tend to suit cases of around 34–40 mm; medium wrists (16–18 cm) are flattered by 40–44 mm; and larger wrists (over 18 cm) can comfortably carry 44 mm and above. A watch that sits within the width of your wrist, without the lugs overhanging the edges, usually looks best.
Strap and band fit
Most of our watches come with an adjustable strap or a metal bracelet that can be resized. For buckle and leather straps, the holes allow for a comfortable range of adjustment. For link bracelets, links can be added or removed by a local jeweller or watch shop to achieve a perfect fit — a quick and inexpensive adjustment. The band should sit snugly but allow a finger to slip underneath.
A note on individual products
Exact case dimensions, strap width, and band length vary by model and are listed in the product description wherever available. If you'd like a specific measurement for a particular watch before ordering, email us at timefortime.store@gmail.com and we'll be happy to confirm.
